Role Description:
This is a remote, hourly contract position for a Copyeditor at CE Solutions. The Copyeditor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading educational content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to grammar and style guidelines. Duties include reviewing training materials, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with subject matter experts to maintain high educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Active EMS certification (EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic) required to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Proficiency in grammar, text editing, and proofreading
- Experience in editorial work and writing, especially for educational or technical content
- Familiarity with AMA Manual of Style (11th edition) and APA Publication Manual (7th edition) citation and reference formatting
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
- Flexable schedule
- Experience with educational materials or e-learning content is a plus
- Familiarity with NREMT guidelines and CAPCE accreditation standards is highly desirable
