Copy Editor – $40/hr – $45/hr
Our international policy and finance client is seeking a Copyeditor to assist their team in reviewing content for a new website.
This position is fully remote and expected to be part-time for a few weeks.
You will be tasked with editing website content, including the homepage, about us, events, etc. You will edit the content to align with the brand guidelines and recommend best practices for SEO and webpages.
Duties/Requirements of the Copyeditor
- Review and edit written content to ensure clarity, conciseness, and alignment with brand tone
- Copy edit descriptions for 22 member-only products (approx. 150 words each; total ~3,300 words)
- Copy edit high level public pages (approx. 3,000 words), including: Homepage, What We Do, Awards, etc
- A minimum of 5 years of copy editing experience
- Knowledge of SEO and UX copy best practices
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
