Contributing Writer, Finance Leadership – $500–$800 per article
Contract reviews, reconciliations, revenue operations, closing the books, collections — Numero’s revolutionary first-AI agentic AI runs it all, end-to-end. Opening the doors to the next era in finance, where office of the CFO can finally make time for strategic work. Numero’s every AI worker is built on accuracy, completeness, and auditability, with humans in the loop at every critical juncture.
About the founders
Karthik Ramamoorthy came from Zuora and Yahoo, and co-founded RevPro before that — he helped define modern billing, then built revenue automation in this exact space. Viswajith, from Growfin and Freshworks, has shipped AR and collections software at scale — finance’s hardest workflow to automate. Sathya brings infrastructure rigor from Meta and Google, built for zero downtime and zero silent data loss. Jason Pikoos spent his career at KPMG and Connor Group, grounding Numero’s logic in real close and audit experience.
Ahead of our full-fledged launch, we’re building a strong community for the office of the CFO and we’re inviting the first contributors to join our platform. We’re doing this because at the crux of it, we want to solve for every problem coming out of the CFO space. We want CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders to write with us — not just about us.
What you’ll do
- Write short, opinionated articles, 600–900 words, once a month
- The topics will be based on the problems you’ve actually lived. The close that takes eleven days when it should take three, the revenue recognition process that consumes a week of your team’s quarter, every quarter, the procurement approval that sits in someone’s inbox while a deal goes cold…
Who we’re looking for
- Based in the US
- Current or former CFOs, controllers, or finance leaders: people who’ve closed the books under pressure, defended a number to a board…
- What matters more than title is voice. We’re looking for a point of view and a story drawn from lived personal experience.
- You can write it yourself in first person, or talk it through with our editorial team and refine from there.
What you get
- Byline and bio on every article you publish
- Networking with a lean, senior audience of finance leaders — not a mass list, a room worth being in
- Competitive compensation of $500–$800 per article
- An exclusive invite to speak, moderate, or participate in Numero’s summits and conferences
