Content Writer/Marketer – $34/hr – $44/hr
Sports and live event client is seeking a Content Writer/Marketer to work with their team. This is a 20-30 hour/week, fully remote working in PST hours, freelance opportunity kicking off in April and extending through October 2026.
Must Have: -Exceptional writing and content packaging skills
-Passionate about tennis (strong preference) or sports in general
-Experience in journalism or long form storytelling comfortable shaping narratives in fresh, modern formats.
-Skilled in creating content for websites, interactive features, and fan driven experiences.
-Able to think like a fanunderstanding what drives engagement, excitement, and shareability
-Comfortable working in a fast-moving digital environment, experimenting with content formats, and adapting to evolving creative needs
Key Responsibilities: -Develop engaging written, videosupported, and interactive content (quizzes, polls, fan experiences) to be used across client website and digital platforms
-Work within the CMS to build and publish content modules, features, and interactive articles
-Curate and package video driven storytelling pieces e.g., creating an engaging and fan friendly experience around current trends in the tennis space
-Translate long form editorial content into modern, mobilefirst digital pieces that drive engagement
-Collaborate with journalists, editors, and content strategists to modernize the clients editorial approach
-Help drive the shift from traditional written content to video and image led engagement experiences
-Additional duties as assigned
Nice to Have: -Experience working in Minutely, BrightCode, and Sitecore
