WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work with the Content Team to develop high-quality, unique, and engaging content for a head term, category, job title, and specialty pages to improve search engine rankings
  • Work with your team lead on the prioritization of daily and weekly writing assignments
  • Frequently review content strategies, goals, and industry updates provided by your manager
  • Write keyword-rich SEO copy for our BOLD properties using appropriate keywords, clarity, style, and tone to increase organic inbound traffic as well as conversions
  • Perform timely and thorough keyword research using various search and analytics tools
  • Conduct internet research for the target market on various topics related to writing assignments and optimization efforts
  • Review/copy edit submissions for grammar, spelling, syntax, etc.
  • Perform related work and additional duties as needed or required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a professional content writer
  • SEO skills and experience
  • Excellent English sales copy writing skills
  • Experience in optimized copywriting and editing
  • Knowledge of online writing best practices
  • Ability to meet and manage multiple deadlines

WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE

  • Proficiency in WordPress, Photoshop and content management software (e.g., Contently, Jira and WordPress)
  • Copywriting experience, including an ability to craft email, social media and landing page copy
  • Career services and hiring industry expertise
  • Familiarity with the tools of online marketing and the metrics used to evaluate digital content’s success
  • Certified Professional Resume Writer certification is a huge plus: NCRW or CPRW
