Job Overview:

 

The Content Support Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting specific content within the compliance library and our employee training catalog. This person is responsible for ensuring that such content is up to date, consistent with other platform content to create the best client experience possible and assisting in answering questions from our internal teams about that content. Additionally, the Content Support Specialist may be called upon to assist on other content projects and/or help support other elements of the platform. This position requires the ability to work with others and independently; knowledge of HR and employment law topics; a willingness to ask for feedback and share ideas; and interest in ongoing self-development related to the role.

 

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:



    • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the materials we have on our platform.

 

    • Managing and supporting content within their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to:

 

    • Monitor legal developments reported by legislative tracking team for applicability to areas of content responsibility.

 

    • Owning the processes for creating and maintaining content.

 

    • Recommending functionality and/or design improvements.

 

    • Responding to team/customer inquiries.

 

    • Working closely with legal editors and legal analysts to ensure consistency of content across the platform.

 

    • Working closely with Subject Matter Experts on any necessary content creation.

 

    • Working closely with Product Managers on any changes or enhancements.

 

    • Managing Master Course Spreadsheet for our employee training catalog (Learn).

 

    • Conducting Course Selection Guidance calls for Learn with end users as needed.

 

    • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements & Skills:



    • Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

 

    • Experience: Three years’ experience working with and/or writing content related to employment laws or human resources.

 

    • Write clearly and informatively with attention to detail and accuracy.

 

    • Establish priorities, plan work, and meet required deadlines while being consistently flexible when the need to switch tasks/topics is required.

 

    • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations.

 

    • Work collaboratively with various teams, including remotely within a virtual team environment; exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to building a positive team spirit; support everyone’s efforts to succeed; recognize accomplishments of other team members.

 

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; familiar with Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, text editors, content management systems.

 

    • Attention to Communication (Oral & Written): The ability to ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed as well as the ability to express oneself clearly in conversations, business writing and interactions with others.

 

    • Customer Orientation: The ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying one’s external and/or internal customers.

 

    • Fostering Teamwork: As a team member, the ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team, including remotely within a virtual team environment.

 

    • Demonstrates Thoroughness: Ensuring that one’s own work and information are complete and accurate; carefully preparing for meetings and presentations; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.

 

  • Takes Initiative: The ability to assess and initiate things independently.


    This role can be performed 100% remote anywhere in the US. Anticipated Pay Range: $50,000 – $65,000 Annually USD Total compensation includes US employee benefits, and annual bonus eligibility.
