Primary responsibilities:

  • Plays a pivotal role in developing, shaping and executing GeneDx’s comprehensive content strategy – driving impactful content that aligns with the company’s goals, elevates GeneDx’s presence, and improves perception of the company.
  • Independently strategizes and writes clear, crisp, and engaging content that engages readers by telling stories aligned with company goals.
  • Plays an important role in multichannel marketing by identifying additional mediums through which we can repurpose existing content, increasing impact and ROI.
  • Understands best practices in mediums including web, email, sales aids, social media – and uses that knowledge to set GeneDx apart when communicating via these mediums.
  • Works cross-functionally with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and engagement across all platforms, ultimately enhancing brand visibility and influence in the industry.
  • Develops positive relationships with the GeneDx medical, product and management teams; works closely with them to ensure accuracy of all copy.
  • Writes in various forms, including web copy, social media, digital ads, emails, video scripts, brochures, and more.
  • Writes for various audiences, including the public, patients undergoing testing, and medical professionals ordering testing.
  • Effectively balances competing demands and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes across all initiatives with a high degree of efficiency and independence.
  • Adeptly prioritizes incoming requests, manages projects, and communicates their status to stakeholders while skillfully addressing unforeseen issues promptly
