Role Overview
We’re looking for a hungry, curious writer to join us as a part-time Content Intern. You’ll own two things: writing our newsletter (sent roughly four times a week to acquisition entrepreneurs, investors, and funds) and producing SEO blog content that ranks through AI-driven programmatic search.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to learn how a modern media and M&A advisory business actually operates – from deal flow and acquisition strategy to content distribution and organic growth. If you’re early in your career, love writing, and want to get smart fast about business acquisitions and digital publishing – this is a rare seat.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and publish approximately four newsletter issues per week, covering deal flow, acquisition strategies, market trends, and operator insights for a sophisticated audience
- Produce blog content optimized for AI programmatic SEO – building topical authority in the SMB acquisitions and business buying space
- Handle both copy and design/layout of each newsletter within our email platform (beehiiv)
- Research deal structures, valuation multiples, and acquisition case studies to inform accurate, credible content
- Maintain a content calendar and hit publishing deadlines consistently
- Repurpose content across formats – social posts, Slack community updates, short-form assets – as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
- A strong writer, first and foremost – clear, concise, and engaging on the page
- Genuinely curious about business, deals, entrepreneurship, and how companies are bought and sold
- Some familiarity with SEO concepts is a plus, but willingness to learn is more important than existing expertise
- Comfortable working independently and hitting deadlines without reminders
- Experience with beehiiv, Substack, or any newsletter platform is a bonus, not a requirement
- This is fully remote and flexible around your schedule

Compensation
Paid part-time internship. Compensation commensurate with experience and hours.
Growth path: Strong performers who consistently deliver quality content will be considered for a full-time editorial role as the team scales.
