Job Title: Content Editor
Duration: 4 to 6 months
Weekly Hours: 35–40 per week
Location: Remote (US-based)
Project Overview:
Join our client’s team to support a significant content migration initiative. We’re consolidating a large volume of digital assets onto a new, unified website. Your primary responsibility will be to review, edit, and enhance existing content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy throughout the transition.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review and edit a substantial volume of digital content for style, tone, and accuracy.
- Assess and implement SEO improvements as needed.
- Make light updates to website sections, such as Insights, Articles, blog posts, and related areas.
- (Preferred) Candidates with project management experience may help coordinate workflow and support broader project execution.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on editing experience.
- Proficiency and familiarity with AP Style.
- Previous experience with content management systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, following provided guidelines.
- Strong communication skills; able to collaborate virtually within a distributed team.
- (Preferred) Project management or workflow coordination skills
