Cella is seeking a contract Content Editor on behalf of our client for a remote opportunity expected to run through the end of the year. This dynamic contract role focuses on digital page production, content updates, and cross-functional web management during high-volume promotional cycles. The position offers flexible scheduling with an estimated baseline of 25-30 hours per week, with the potential to increase toward full-time hours during peak seasonal activity.
Responsibilities:
- Build, format, and update responsive digital landing pages and web properties using a Content Management System (CMS) based on approved static designs and content briefs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams-including copywriters, designers, project managers, and engineering/developer partners-to ensure visual fidelity and troubleshoot technical layout issues.
- Review design assets in tools such as Figma to accurately implement visual components, templates, and digital media.
- Input and maintain copy, calls to action, links, imagery, metadata, and required legal disclosures across desktop and mobile experiences.
- Conduct detailed quality assurance (QA) checks prior to publishing, verifying responsive behavior, link integrity, layout accuracy, and compliance standards.
- Adhere to content governance standards, naming conventions, and internal workflows while managing multiple requests simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience in digital content production, web publishing, or CMS management.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing enterprise, traditional, or headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentstack) to build and update web pages.
- Proficiency in interpreting design files from platforms such as Figma and translating them into CMS-based web components.
- Ability to work comfortably during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
- Familiarity with basic web structure (HTML/CSS), project management systems, or digital asset management platforms is helpful but not required.
