Job Overview We’re looking for a dynamic Community Growth Manager to spearhead our community engagement and social media efforts. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes gaming culture, understands meme trends, and communicates authentically with Gen Z. If you’re skilled at building online communities, creating engaging content, and fostering genuine connections, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Community Engagement & Growth
- Cultivate and nurture thriving online communities on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and gaming forums.
- Develop creative strategies to drive organic growth through private conversations, social interactions, and community events.
- Lead discussions, answer questions, and create opportunities for members to share experiences.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment within all platforms.
Content Creation & Amplification
Create engaging, high-quality content (videos, streams, social media posts) tailored to resonate with gamers.
- Collaborate with influencers to amplify our message and grow our audience.
- Inspire community members to share their own success stories and user-generated content.
Social Media Management
- Oversee and manage social media channels, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand communication.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar with posts, stories, videos, and live streams to drive engagement.
- Maximize reach and engagement through platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social media trends.
Moderation & Safety
- Monitor platforms to maintain a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Empower and train moderators to facilitate conversations and proactively address issues.
- Enforce community guidelines and foster an environment free from toxicity.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and analyze community and social media metrics to measure engagement, growth, and member satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and use insights to refine strategies.
- Implement feedback loops to relay community suggestions to the product team.
Event Coordination
- Plan and execute community events, contests, and tournaments to drive engagement.
- Partner with internal teams to align events with product goals and milestones.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a community manager, growth hacker, or similar role in the gaming industry.
- Strong presence and active participation in gaming communities.
- Exceptional content creation skills with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Deep understanding of Gen Z behaviors, gaming culture, and internet trends.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, community management tools, and analytics software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
