About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and socially savvy individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Manager. This is a fully remote contractor role with flexible hours — what matters most is delivering results, not clocking in at a set time. No prior experience is required; if you live and breathe social media and love connecting with people online, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and more) in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Engage authentically with customers on our ad posts and organic content — answering questions, addressing concerns, and nurturing potential customers through the conversation.
- Track and participate in conversations where our brand is mentioned, even when we’re not directly tagged.
- Identify trends, recurring questions, and customer sentiment, and share insights with the team regularly.
- Flag any negative feedback, potential PR issues, or unusual activity for escalation.
- Help build a warm, trustworthy community presence that reflects our brand voice.
Who We’re Looking For
- Active and fluent across major social media platforms — you understand the culture, tone, and unwritten rules of each.
- A strong writer who can craft friendly, clear, and engaging responses quickly.
- Self-motivated and reliable — you manage your own schedule and get things done without being micromanaged.
- Comfortable representing a brand professionally in public-facing conversations.
- Quick to flag issues and proactive about communicating with the team.
- Recent high school graduates welcome — formal experience is not required.
Compensation & Details
- Rate: $500/week (1099 independent contractor)
- Schedule: Flexible — results-oriented, not hours-based
