Santa Fe Trend Magazine is a prestigious national publication with a rich 25-year history in art, design, and culture. Our magazine is available on newsstands across all 50 states, known for its editorial excellence and authentic coverage of art, design, architecture, and cuisine. We primarily focus on the vibrant communities of Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, and Abiquiu, NM.

Role Description:

We are seeking a Editor in Chief to join our team in a contract role. As the Editor, you will oversee the editorial process, manage writers and copy editor set schedules manage workflow from October until June on our annual 250 page magazine, ensuring the quality and timelessness of our content. Work remotely with the members of team trend. This hybrid role is based in Santa Fe, NM, with flexibility for mostly remote work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Editor in magazine publishing.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to refine writers’ work to perfection.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience managing a team.
• Proficiency in content management systems.
• Knowledge of SEO, website, and digital publishing.
• Understanding of art, design, and culture, particularly in northern NM communities, gained through direct experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, fostering a balanced and productive environment.
