Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in the Des Moines Metropolitan Area for a Book Reviewer. The Book Reviewer will evaluate books across various genres, focusing on their literary merit, structure, and themes. Responsibilities include writing detailed and engaging reviews, analyzing works within the context of literature and genre standards, and contributing to discussions on fiction, library recommendations, and literary trends.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Book Reviews and familiarity with literary critique
- Knowledge of Literature and Library Services
- Excellent Writing skills, with a focus on clarity and engagement
- Passion and expertise in Fiction and related genres
- Relevant degree or professional experience in English, Literature, or related fields
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting and meet deadlines
- Experience in the publishing industry or literary analysis is a plus
