You will support content development across multiple clients and disease areas You will:
- Develop scientific educational content including slide decks, messaging documents, and publications (posters, manuscripts).
- Conduct literature searches and other desktop research to build understanding of new therapeutic areas as needed
- Collaborate with internal medical team to develop content for medical educational programs in the form of slides, text, and videos/scripts
- Participate in client meeting to review content and collect feedback
- Ensure content is scientifically accurate and supported by original references
- Develop visual representation of complex data to facilitate audience understanding
- Fack-checking and quality control (ensuring content developed by other writers is supported by scientific evidence)
- Update content based on internal and client team feedback
- Collaborate with account and medical counterparts to track project deadlines
- Develop knowledge in multiple disease areas
- Experience in kidney disease and/or immunology is a plus but not required
- Build understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical development cycle
- Ability to prioritize/organize workload and manage multiple workstreams
- Build understanding of client dynamics and expectations
- Participate in client-facing meetings
- Travel (e.g. advisory board, conferences) or on-site client visits maybe be required around 10% of time, as needed
Essential Requirements:
- Education: PhD, MD, PharmD
- 0-1 years of pharma or medical communication agency experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various functional team (accounts, editorial, creative)
- Work as team player in a large team
- Analyze and synthesize complex information from multiple sources
- Communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences
- Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
- Efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and communication effectively with others; can quickly evaluate the resources and potential challenges and communicate with the team in a actionable manner
- Microsoft Office Suite experience

- EndNote reference management database experience
- Prism GraphPad
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
