Apply / Register: Every Listiller Feature Explained
So, what is Listiller anyway?
First and foremost: This entire website is updated and maintained by one person, an individual. So don’t think of this website as a “company” or some shady / scummy entity.
I’m just a blogger and a former freelance writer. My name is Elvis, nice to virtually meet you 🙂
With that out of the way, let’s talk about all available features I provide and consistently keep up with:
Feature #1: Listiller tasks
What is this? Listiller tasks are simply micro gigs, and I pay you directly out of pocket to complete them. Every single task can be completed in under 15 seconds, so they’re extremely simple and fun in nature.
Tasks tend to appear randomly throughout the day in batches.
You may work on tasks such as:
- Completing multiple-choice questions
- Participating in polls
- Completing trivia and quizzes based on random things (such as movies, tech, and video games)
- Sharing a link on your social media pages (such as a blog article)
- Note: Every task is done here on Listiller itself. That means you won’t ever have to visit some other site to complete a task (unless it involves sharing a link on your social media, but that’s about it).
How to access Listiller tasks: All you need is a basic free account. No need to submit a resume or cover letter. Once registered, tasks can be found either on the homepage (Listiller.com) or via the “Tasks” category menu.
Payment: Pay rates for Listiller tasks depend on the task itself. Most of them pay under $1 dollar due to their simplicity (again, these can be done in under 15 seconds). However, some tasks may pay higher than that.
Payment is sent out every weekend via PayPal.
The point of Listiller tasks is to provide you with some quick “candy money” money without having to jump through hoops.
You won’t get rich, but Listiller tasks can pay for your gym / Netflix / cell phone / dinners and other routine bills.
Okay, but that’s the catch? You must be a US-based resident to complete Listiller tasks.
The good news: That being said, every other feature listed below is widely open to everyone, worldwide. So keep reading!
Feature #2: Listiller provides a HUGE list of curated jobs from around the web
In addition to Listiller tasks, this site also has a robust job board that links you to external writing / editing jobs and other related positions.
These are aggregated from all over the web so you don’t have to manually chase them down yourself.
This site aggregates over 200 writing and editing jobs daily, on average.
- Jobs may come from sources like Indeed, SimplyHired, and career pages, and are generally labeled “non-bidding jobs”
- Other jobs come from sources like Upwork and Freelancer.com, generally labeled “bidding jobs” (because you must bid against other people
In addition, I add many of these jobs 100% manually every single day, so it’s not all automated and soulless. This also includes high-paying publications and online magazines.
I even pay for various premium sources such as FlexJobs, just to make sure I get every job I possibly can.
Feature #3: Access curated jobs with pay rates
Speaking of adding things manually, this site shows many listings with pay rates which are manually curated and maintained.
This section contains jobs that often pay hundreds of dollars per article.
Feature #4: Receive jobs straight to your inbox. For example, you can:
Optionally receive an email digest containing most of the latest jobs (several times per day)
- Choose to receive only jobs with pay rates (excluding all others, if you wish)
- Get email notifications whenever new Listiller tasks are published
- Get email notifications specifically for niche jobs. For example, are you a travel writer or a sports editor? You can opt to receive email alerts specifically for jobs that mention these keywords. This feature alone can be very helpful
Are you still with me?! Let’s keep reading 🙂
Feature #5: Other perks related to writing / editing / content jobs:
- There’s a handy search bar available (imagine searching many job boards from one place). This is convenience at its finest
- You can save (bookmark) jobs to view them later
Feature #6: Access 6,000+ blogs that accept guest posts
Are you a blogger, marketer or writer looking to expand your reach and build authority?
I manually maintain a comprehensive database of 6,000+ blogs that accept guest posts across a wide range of niches. Each listing takes you straight to the submissions page, making it a breeze to get your guest post published.
This grants you some powerful advantages:
- Build valuable backlinks
- Network with industry influencers
- Save time and effort
- Diversify your portfolio
Feature #7: You can promote yourself through banner ads
What is this? Basically, you can publish a banner that appears alongside other published ones. They display randomly (in rotation) with each page refresh. These banners typically appear within most long-form articles and core parts of this website.
Note: The Listiller audience primarily revolves around freelance writers, bloggers, solopreneurs, remote workers, and those interested in making money and/or finding success. This is important to know, since your banner needs to cater to a specific audience.
Phew! That’s a lot of features
Real talk: Maintaining this entire website is fun, but it’s also a ton of work…
All in all, this entire website is maintained by one person (which takes time + server costs + other ongoing fees).
For that reason, this website offers a lot of FREE features along with PAID features.
So, YOU get to choose what to have access to:
Free Option…
Access to most Listiller tasks.
Remember, these are the micro gigs paid directly by me, Elvis.
Listiller tasks are not the same as aggregated job listings (jobs from around the web).
Please Note: Listiller tasks are only open to legal, permanent US residents with a US-based PayPal account.
Also, remember: Every other feature on this website is open to everyone, worldwide. Listiller tasks are the only restricted feature.
Access to many aggregated jobs: The free option also grants access to over half of all writing / editing jobs from around the web, daily.
This also includes many jobs with pay rates (open to everyone, worldwide).
The free option also allows you to publish long-form content on the Listiller blog (see the Guidelines page for accepted topics).
Are you happy with the free option? I personally suggest you consider any of the following:
Essentials One
What’s Essentials One? This option grants everything from the Free option, plus the following perks:
Higher-paying Listiller tasks – These are the same tasks from the Free tier, but you get a bit more money. For example, if a task paid 25 cents under the “Free tier,” you would get a few extra cents as an Essentials subscriber.
Extra Listiller tasks: The Essentials One option also provides some bonus tasks.
Note: This is just a small bonus; most Listiller tasks are in the Free tier. Nevertheless, a few extra tasks never hurts, right?
Access extra curated jobs with pay rates, served daily.
With this option, you can expect an extra 7-15 daily jobs with pay rates (that are NOT available in the Free tier).
Access extra curated jobs from around the web, served daily.
Similarly to jobs with pay rates, you can expect a few extra listings that are not available in the Free tier.
Calls for pitches: These are generally listings from online magazines, high-end websites, & publications.
Jobs sent straight to your email – Get most curated jobs up to four times daily via email. This is really, really convenient…
Jobs with pay rates by email – You may also opt to receive only jobs with pay rates by email up to once per day.
Note: Emails from Upwork and other “bidding” sites do not include pay rates.
Receive email alerts when Listiller tasks are published: Stay ahead of everyone else!
Imagine this: A dozen Listiller tasks just released. You get an instant email and can immediately work on them before anyone else…
Receive email alerts for niche jobs / markets: For example, get notified whenever “Travel writer” or “B2B copywriter” appears in a job title or description.
This feature alone can actually help you land the job of your dreams, especially if you enjoy specific topics (such as gaming or pop culture, for example).
‘Save’ or bookmark jobs to view them easily later. No time to apply for a job right away? Save it and easily come back to it later.
Search bar – Imagine searching many job boards from one place!
All in all: Essentials One is a good way to help support this website, as it requires daily maintenance.
This entire website is a one-man operation, and many of its core features are manually updated and maintained.
Do you want even more benefits? The following tier is great for bloggers and marketers, not just writers / editors…
Essentials Two
All of FREE and ESSENTIALS One, plus:
Access 6,000+ blogs that accept guest posts.
This database is 100% manually updated.
Publish a banner ad! This ad rotates randomly alongside others (with each page refresh). They appear within most articles and core pages.
Publish short-form content on the Listiller blog: Publish without doing much writing! Great for adding a quick link, too
Optional: Get a mention on social media each month (to your website/service)
Once again, this is a GREAT way to help support this website, as it requires daily maintenance.
As a one-man army, my gratitude would be infinite.
So, which option will you choose?
Before you decide: If you’re skeptical or hesitant…
There are A LOT of scams out there, I understand. For this reason, subscriptions are made using PayPal; this gives you full control of when to cancel and call it a day.
You can also email me at Hello@Listiller.com or Writertown@gmail.com for help.
