Social Media Specialist – $40,000-50,000/year
First Station Media is looking for a creative Social Media Specialist who has experience in growing our clients’ social media presence. This person must be self-motivated and eager to learn. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of managing a plethora of social media accounts across all platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X) as well as in-depth knowledge of the Meta Business Suite.
Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and maintain existing accounts while also adding new accounts using a standard protocol
- Establish new paid/sponsored campaigns across all platforms; maintain existing campaigns with great care
- Abide by all platform stipulations to ensure posts and campaigns are not rejected or postponed
- Resolve any and all issues that may arise with profiles
- Manage and engage in social media platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram
- Research methods to increase social media presence and apply to platforms
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns
- Create and execute social media strategies
- Collaborate with the social media team to apply social media practices
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Meta’s posting regulations, or the ability to undergo Meta Business training courses and hands-on shadowing; Meta Business Suite knowledge is a plus
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Background in graphic design a plus
- Must possess excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Driven to positively execute and promote social media campaigns
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Experience in digital marketing and social media

- This is a remote position. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in a state where First Station Media is registered to employ staff.
Additional Information
- This role primarily involves working at a computer for extended periods and may require sitting, typing, and viewing screens for long durations.
- Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location in accordance with applicable law.
- Employment with First Station Media is at-will, meaning either the employee or the company may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
