Social Media Manager, North America
In this role, you will manage Indeed’s North America organic social media program, including content strategy, channel strategy, and influencer management. You will work closely with creative agencies, internal partners, and global social media leads to bring Indeed’s social presence to life.
You will track performance data, monitor trends, and recommend content that drives engagement and performance. As part of Indeed’s Global Brand Marketing & Experiences team, you will contribute to a social-first approach that builds relevance, earns attention, and generates foundational insights for our modern marketing flywheel to help people get jobs.
Who you are
- Manage the North America social media program in partnership with global social leads
- Maintain and manage the content calendar across all social platforms in collaboration with vendor partners
- Continually evaluate content and platform performance and research social trends to inform content development and social strategy
- Partner with team members to find content and engagement opportunities, share insights, and test new tactics
- Collaborate with internal partners to support integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Monitor social conversations and escalate sensitive issues while collaborating cross-functionally
Who we are
- Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
- Proven organic social expertise across social platforms (e.g. Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit)
- Experienced in developing successful social media strategies through engaging content and effective channel management
- Skilled in social media analytics and adept at making data-based decisions and recommendations
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Able to create, capture, and edit content while managing content calendars
- Experience working with creative agencies, cross-functional partners, and creators/influencers
