Looking for a long-term YouTube Story Producer / Scriptwriter for a one-of-a-kind global expedition channel.
I create cinematic, mission-based videos built around real locations, big objectives, and original concepts. Most episodes involve multiple countries in one video, with heavy use of map animation, 3D visuals, and visual storytelling to make the journey feel clear, fast-moving, and exciting.
This is not generic travel content. The goal is to create ambitious long-form YouTube videos that feel original, high-retention, and built around a clear mission.
I will provide the main video ideas. Your role is to research them, develop the strongest angle, and turn them into a clear story blueprint for filming and editing. You are also welcome to pitch your own video ideas if they fit the channel.
Responsibilities:
• Research the video idea, locations, facts, history, and context
• Build clear scene-by-scene video structures
• Write strong hooks and voiceover scripts
• Include map animation and 3D visual notes where needed
• List what needs to be recorded on site to support the story
• Think about pacing, retention, escalation, and payoff
Important:
• This is not traditional documentary narration
• This is not generic travel writing
• The script should be visual, clear, and built for YouTube
• If a video is based in one country, it still needs a strong mission, objective, or important reason to exist
• I will direct the final edit with my editors, but the script should give us a strong story blueprint
Most videos will be around 15-22 minutes, depending on the idea. The goal is not filler. The goal is a strong video that keeps moving.
This starts per project. If the first project goes well, I’m open to a long-term monthly arrangement. Goal is around 12 to 18 long-form videos per year.
