Social Media Clipper + Content Editor – $35-$40/hour

We are looking for a highly skilled Social Media Clipper & Content Editor who can transform long-form content into engaging, high-performing short-form videos across YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.

This role goes beyond basic editing. You will identify viral moments, create compelling hooks, optimize retention, add captions and motion graphics if needed, and help maximize the reach and impact of our content. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, audience psychology, social media trends, and how to edit for engagement. We like a polished, clean look, nothing too cartoony.

Responsibilities:

  • Review long-form podcasts, interviews, presentations, webinars, and live events.
  • Identify high-impact moments, key insights, emotional stories, and viral-worthy clips.
  • Create engaging short-form videos from that
  • Develop strong hooks within the first 1–3 seconds.
  • Edit clips to maintain pacing, energy, and viewer attention.

Video Editing

  • Edit vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Add dynamic captions, text overlays, graphics, animations, zooms, sound effects, and B-roll when appropriate.
  • Color correct and audio enhance footage.
  • Create multiple variations of content for testing and optimization.
  • Deliver polished edits consistently

Experience

  • Experience editing podcasts, interviews, keynote presentations, or educational content
  • Understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook algorithms.
  • Experience working with personal brands, creators, coaches, speakers, or business-focused content.

Compensation: Based on experience
