Copywriter & Content Writer – $7/hour
We need a skilled writer to take full ownership of our writing workload — across every channel, every client, every format. This is not a support role. You will be the writer. You will receive briefs, voice notes, transcripts, or raw ideas and return publication-ready copy without significant back-and-forth. The expectation is full ownership, not assistance.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
You will take complete ownership of copy production across the following:
- Social media video scripts — Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn video
- Email sequences — lead nurture, onboarding, re-engagement, and broadcast campaigns
- Website copy — hero sections, service pages, about pages, and CTAs
- Program and service descriptions for proposals and sales pages
- Social media captions — platform-native, strategic, and brand-accurate
- Short-form content repurposed from calls, transcripts, or voice memos
- Copy review on client deliverables before they are sent
On an as-needed basis, you may join content review calls with active clients to align on feedback or revisions. This will not be a regular expectation, but you must be comfortable representing your work professionally when it occurs.
WHO YOU ARE
- You write fast and clean — first drafts are close to final, not starting points
- You understand conversion copy: every sentence has a job, every CTA has intent
- You can absorb a brand voice from examples and match it without repeated correction
- You are comfortable ghostwriting — writing in someone else’s voice is natural to you
- You work from briefs, voice notes, or rough transcripts without needing to be walked through the task
- You ask clarifying questions before you start, not after you submit
- You meet deadlines without reminders and flag blockers early
- You operate independently — you do not need daily direction to stay productive
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years writing copy professionally — agency, in-house, or freelance
- Demonstrated proficiency in conversion-based copywriting (email, landing pages, sales copy)
- Portfolio showing at least 3 formats: email sequences, web or sales copy, and social or video scripts
- Experience writing for service-based businesses — marketing, consulting, real estate, or adjacent industries
- Ability to write in multiple tones and adapt to different brand voices
- Strong written English — grammar, structure, and clarity must be publication-ready
STRONG PLUS (NOT REQUIRED)
- Familiarity with direct-response frameworks: AIDA, PAS, StoryBrand, or similar
- Experience writing for real estate professionals, coaches, or high-ticket service providers
- Comfort working inside tools like Asana, GoHighLevel, Slack, or similar platforms
- Experience repurposing audio or video transcripts into written content
- Ability to write short-form video scripts with natural pacing and hook structure
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT 30 DAYS
- 3 or more deliverables completed with minimal revision rounds
- Brand voice understood and applied consistently — no repeated corrections
- Assets turned around within 24–48 hours of assignment
- Operating independently from brief to submission — no micromanagement required
- Communication with Executive assistant / Owner is proactive, and on schedule
