Scriptwriter | Tech Channel (Vongard)
I’m looking for a long-term Scriptwriter & Researcher for my Tech Channel (Vongard | 35K Subs).
I started as a serious documentary channel, covering iPhone downfall, Samsung lack of innovation… but now I’m switching and expanding.
Now, I’m building a personality for the channel.
The goal is to combine Personal experience, Storytelling, Humor, Strong Opinions, and Entertaining Commentary, while still keeping the documentary side. (Watch videos attached).
Your role would be to do in-depth research on the topic provided, gather sources, create an outline, and write a high-quality script in a very engaging and simplified way.
Ideal Candidate:
- Someone who is Creative and understands Retention and Storytelling.
- Knows how to keep viewers hooked.
- Can mix Humor with Information naturally (without overdoing it).
- Understands Tech culture. (Apple, Android, apps, internet culture, etc.)
- Creative enough to suggest memes, edits…
I don’t want just purely informative scripts. I want the writing to feel personal and relatable, as if the narrator actually experienced the topic himself.
For example, when talking about an app or product, lines like:
“I personally used it for years…” or “I remember when everyone was using this…”
The goal is to make the viewer emotionally connect with the topic and feel like they’re listening to an authentic experience, not just reading raw information.
In summary: Be able to write in my style while adding your touch.
Job Requirements:
- Strong English writing skills.
- Experience writing YouTube scripts (especially in the Tech niche).
- Able to make 1 – 2 scripts per week. (1800 ~ 2500 words)
- Good communication + Respect deadlines.
