About Motus Casters
Motus Casters is a B2B distributor of caster wheels and material handling products, based in River Falls, WI. We’ve been in this business since 1986, formerly operating as Minnesota Casters, and we serve a mix of project-based, recurring, and one-off customers across healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and more.
We run a lean operation and take a straightforward approach: know your products, know your customers, and deliver on what you promise. We’re growing our online presence and need someone who can help us manage and improve it.
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable contractor to take ownership of our website and support our marketing efforts on an ongoing basis.
This isn’t a heavy creative role, it’s about keeping things running well, improving what we have, and helping us show up better online.
This is a flexible, part-time contractor position. Hours will vary week to week depending on workload, but we’re looking for someone who can be consistent and responsive.
What You’ll Be Working On
Website Management
- Keep the site updated (product listings, pricing, descriptions, categories)
- Make ongoing improvements to site structure, navigation, and user experience
- Handle basic technical maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they come up
- Ensure the site is running cleanly on WordPress / WooCommerce
SEO & Visibility
- Improve on-page SEO across product and category pages
- Identify gaps and opportunities based on how customers search
- Help ensure pages are indexed, structured, and performing in search
Marketing Support
- Assist with content updates (blog posts, landing pages, promotions)
- Support LinkedIn and email marketing efforts as needed
- Help maintain consistency across how we show up online
Who We’re Looking For
The right person for this role doesn’t need to be a specialist in everything, but they do need to take ownership and communicate clearly.
- Proactive – you spot things that need fixing without being asked
- Detail-oriented – small things matter, especially on a product-heavy site
- Reliable – you follow through, meet deadlines, and flag issues early
- Clear communicator – written and verbal,
- Comfortable working independently – we don’t micromanage, but we do expect results
Preferred Experience
- WordPress and WooCommerce (or a comparable e-commerce platform)
- Basic SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (especially HubSpot)
- Comfortable with Google Analytics or GA4
- Bonus: experience with B2B or product-heavy e-commerce sites
