Maison Papillon Digital is a boutique social media agency seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Content Specialist to support client work in the beauty and wellness space.

This is a contract, remote role for candidates based in the United States (Must be available during EST.

You will be responsible for creating high-quality, client-ready social media content with a strong understanding of brand voice, visual storytelling, and performance-driven content.

We are currently hiring two contractors, each dedicated to a single client to ensure quality, consistency, and a manageable workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow a pre-created content plan to create a minimum of 12 posts per month (mix of reels, carousels, and static posts)
  • Edit short-form video content for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok)
  • Design clean, on-brand carousel and static post templates
  • Write or refine captions when needed (depending on project scope)
  • Implement feedback and complete up to 2 revision rounds per post
  • Maintain organized file structure within Google Drive/Dropbox
  • Meet deadlines consistently and communicate proactively

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media content creation
  • Proven experience in beauty, wellness, or non-profit industries
  • Strong video editing skills (short-form content is a must)
  • Ability to follow content direction and brand guidelines closely
  • Structured, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to complete revisions within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 3–5 business days)
  • Strong communication skills and reliability

Compensation

This is a monthly contract role.

Please include your preferred monthly rate for managing and producing a minimum of 12 posts per month, including up to 2 revision rounds.

(Optional but encouraged: you may also include your per-post or hourly rates for reference.)

Contractors will be responsible for submitting a monthly invoice for payment.
