Remote Freelance Writer, Lemonade Productions MN LLC – $40.00-$75.00/hour
Pay will be hourly or on a per-project basis as determined.
About Us
Lemonade Productions is a creative agency specializing in copywriting, graphic design, animation, and video production, that helps organizations communicate with clarity, intention, and purpose.
Our work often lives inside businesses. It may not always be a national ad campaign or a public-facing brand launch, but it still matters. Internal communications, training content, product videos, email campaigns, and employee-facing messages shape how people understand priorities, adopt changes, use tools, and do their work.
That kind of communication deserves strategy. It deserves creativity. It deserves a writer who understands that “everyday” content still carries weight.
As Lemonade Productions grows, we are looking for an experienced strategic writer who can help elevate B2B, B2E, and internal communications. This role is a strong fit for someone who can take practical business information and turn it into clear, thoughtful, effective content.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Writing and Messaging
- Bring strategy, creativity, and intention to internal communications, training content, product videos, email campaigns, and other corporate materials.
- Clarify what the content needs to accomplish before writing begins.
- Translate complex business, product, training, or operational information into clear, useful messaging.
- Shape copy around audience needs, stakeholder priorities, business goals, and desired outcomes.
- Identify what matters most and organize messaging so the audience can understand and act on it.
- Write with a strong understanding of tone, structure, clarity, and approval environments.
Corporate and Internal Communications
- Write scripts, outlines, email campaigns, training content, talking points, product video copy, internal announcements, and related materials.
- Elevate everyday communications without making them feel overproduced, inflated, or generic.
- Create content that helps employees, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders understand what matters and what to do next.
- Support communications that inform, align, educate, explain, or move people toward action.
- Adapt writing for executive audiences, internal teams, customers, partners, and employees.
Advertising and Campaign Copy
- Develop copy for marketing videos, social content, campaign concepts, email campaigns, landing pages, and other promotional materials.
- Write headlines, campaign concepts, taglines, calls to action, and supporting copy.
- Bring creative thinking to projects while staying grounded in the audience, the offer, and the intended outcome.
- Understand when a piece needs a bigger creative concept and when it needs simple, precise communication.
Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, creative directors, strategists, editors, designers, and client teams.
- Participate in project conversations to understand goals, constraints, approvals, and audience needs.
- Ask smart questions that help clarify the purpose of the work.
- Incorporate feedback clearly and efficiently.
- Help reduce complexity by organizing ideas, tightening language, and identifying what matters most.
Ideal Fit
The right writer for this role understands that important communication does not always look like advertising.
Sometimes the work is a training module.
Sometimes it is an internal launch video.
Sometimes it is an email campaign for employees.
Sometimes it is a product explanation, a process update, or a message from leadership.
These pieces may be everyday corporate communications, but they still need to be thoughtful. They still need to be clear. They still need to respect the audience’s time.
We are looking for someone who can bring strategic thinking and creative judgment to this kind of work. Someone who can make practical content stronger without making it feel forced. Someone who knows how to write for real business environments, where clarity, accuracy, timing, and trust matter.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to write big campaign lines. It is for someone who understands that internal and corporate communications can be just as important, and often harder to get right.
