Social Media Strategy Consultant for a US Pet Tech Brand – $25 – $30 an hour
A leading pet tech brand in the US is looking for a Social Media Strategy Consultant to lead and grow our organic social presence. This is a strategy-first, advisory role focused on driving measurable results from engagement and reach to conversions and revenue impact.
You will work closely with a dedicated in-house Social Media Manager in India who handles day-to-day execution. Your role is the strategic layer above, setting direction, managing budgets, tracking metrics, and ensuring social contributes meaningfully to business goals.
Approximately 15–20 hours per week. Pet ownership required. RV experience is a bonus.
What You Will Focus On
- Own organic social strategy across 2 Facebook pages (primary), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Define brand voice, content pillars, and storytelling framework
- Weekly sync with India SMM on priorities, campaigns, and content direction
- Review and approve content calendars, drafts, and creatives before publishing
- Drive conversion-focused strategies linking social to traffic, leads, and sales
- Track metrics and translate into strategic pivots and campaign inputs
- Manage social media budget across content, tools, and boosting
- Guide influencer partnerships at an advisory level (low priority)
Who This Role Is For
- Proven social media strategist or consultant for consumer, D2C, or lifestyle brands
- Strong grasp of Instagram as a brand-building and community platform
- Experienced in driving business outcomes – conversions, traffic, and revenue through social
- Comfortable with budget planning and performance accountability
- Skilled at guiding remote execution teams rather than executing yourself
- Pet ownership required
