Freelance Military Tech News Writer

We’re specifically seeking writers with expertise in one or more of the following areas to contribute to either BGR, Jalopnik, or SlashGear: military vehicles and hardware (with a focus on the machines themselves, rather than the nature and history of their deployment), emerging and next-generation defense technologies (including AI, DARPA, and General Dynamics), and the broader evolution of military technology in both modern and historical contexts.

What You’ll Do:
- Claim and complete articles from a list of available assignments
- Research and write 300—900-word articles using our custom CMS
- Write content with a quick turnaround
- Follow our style guide, editorial strategy, and publishing standards to ensure high-quality content
