Our client in the tech industry is seeking a Social Content Writer to support their growing digital and thought leadership strategy. This role is ideal for a strong B2B writer who can blend strategic storytelling, SEO expertise, and executive voice across LinkedIn articles, newsletters, and blog content.
Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize long-form content including LinkedIn articles, newsletters, and blog posts aligned to brand voice and thought leadership strategy
- Develop compelling social content tailored primarily for LinkedIn, with occasional adaptation for platforms such as Reddit
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and emerging LLM/search best practices to maximize visibility and discoverability
- Partner with executive stakeholders to draft, refine, and finalize thought leadership content, managing review and approval cycles to completion
- Localize content for English-speaking markets outside of the U.S., ensuring cultural relevance and clarity
- Conduct independent research to support timely, high-quality content delivery
- Manage multiple incoming requests across markets, prioritizing deadlines and proactively communicating status updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including social, marketing, and brand to maintain consistency in messaging
- Utilize content planning and workflow tools (e.g., Wrike, Opal or similar platforms) to track progress and meet timelines
Requirements:
- Seeking a content writer with 3-5 years of experience writing blogs and social media content primarily for LinkedIn articles and newsletters
- Experience writing content for Reddit is a plus
- Proficient writing skills for SEO and LLMs is a priority for this role ensuring all content is highly ranked across multiple search engines
- Ability to write for executive leadership managing review and approval cycles to completion
- Ability to localize content for English-speaking markets outside of the U.S.
- Travel and expense or B2B writing experience is ideal but not necessary
- This role also requires ability to organize and prioritize incoming requests for content across various markets and be able to communicate and provide status updates
- Deliver writing requests on short timelines taking the initiative to independently research topics as needed
- Experience with review and scheduling tools like Wrike and Opal is a plus. Experience with employee advocacy programs and/or tools is a plus
