Brand Copywriter
Key Responsibilities:

Write and edit short- and long-form marketing copy across web, social, landing pages, video scripts, and lifecycle channels for multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment

Develop campaign messaging frameworks, headlines, taglines, CTAs, and supporting copy in partnership with design and marketing

Support seasonal moments and tentpole campaigns (e.g., Black Friday, SaveCation, brand milestones)

Translate promotions, deals, and savings opportunities into clear, shopper-friendly storytelling

Optimize copy using performance data, A/B testing insights, and channel best practices

Balance brand voice with clarity, urgency, and relevance—without sacrificing trust

Partner closely with brand designers to concept and execute campaigns where copy and design are developed together

Help define, maintain, and evolve RetailMeNot’s brand voice, tone, and copy guidelines

Audit and refresh existing content to improve clarity, consistency, and effectiveness

Participate in brainstorming, creative reviews, and rapid iteration

The Brand Copywriter collaborates with the Design and channel marketing teams to bring RetailMeNot Group’s shopping brands to life through compelling, high-impact campaigns across owned and off-site channels.
Job Qualifications:

4-5 years of experience writing brand and marketing copy in fast-paced in-house or agency environments

Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign, brand, and performance-aware copy across multiple channels

Proven ability to write both storytelling-driven content (social, video, long-form email) and conversion-focused copy (push, CTAs, paid)

Experience working closely with designers and cross-functional partners

Familiarity with SEO, conversion principles, and A/B testing

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Creative Writing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
