Part-Time Writing & Editing Assistant (2–4 hrs/week) – $30–$50 per hour
I’m a busy professional running multiple businesses and working on ongoing writing projects. I’m looking for a disciplined, reliable writing and editing assistant to help move work to completion.
The work involves shaping, editing, and organizing existing writing into clean, finished pieces — primarily short articles (blog / Substack), with some longer-form material over time.
Time commitment:
2–4 hours per week to start, with the option for more if it’s a good fit.
Compensation:
Paid — hourly or per piece (to be decided together).
This is a good fit if you:
Write and edit clearly and thoughtfully
Are comfortable working in someone else’s voice
Are dependable and organized
Enjoy finishing work, not just brainstorming
This is not:
A co-author role
Unpaid or speculative work
A high-volume content mill
