Our client in the professional services industry is looking for a seasoned Copywriter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a thorough wordsmith who can tackle unfamiliar topics and create compelling content from scratch.

Onsite Expectations: Candidates must be in one of these locations, as they will need to be in the office on their first day: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll blend creative and strategic thinking to craft compelling advertising and short form copy for digital and social channels.
  • You’ll turn complex B2B objectives into clear, engaging narratives that connect with audiences through thoughtful concepts and precise language.
  • Your collaboration, curiosity, and ingenuity will shape work that is impactful and purposeful.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five-plus years of a variety of writing and editing experience in corporate or professional publications.
  • Experience in the advertising or marketing industry.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to write across various forms, including creative concepts, messaging, social media, paid ads, marketing material, blog posts, video scripts and website content.
  • Ability to understand business objectives and unify disparate ideas into one creative concept.
  • Ability to apply search engine optimization principles to improve reader engagement with content.
  • Proficient project management Skills: communicate clearly, gather information, explain finer points of English usage, conduct basic research, brainstorm and ideate with clients and peers, interview subject-matter resources, assess requirements, identify issues, make decisions, provide estimates and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and use approved GenAI tools to promote efficiency and shorten turnaround times.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Teams and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and ability to learn Adobe Workfront.
  • Temperament to virtually mentor proofreaders and copy editors, including critiquing projects and providing constructive feedback.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to identify, resolve and overcome challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate with Creative Services design colleagues and Brand, Marketing & Communications internal clients on creative concepts, including messaging and anthems.
  • Ability to manage work assignments, track time and document project notes in Adobe Workfront.
  • Understands urgency in responding.
  • Familiarity with content strategy.
  • Examination of industry trends and evaluation of new service offerings.
