About The Role
We are seeking a talented Marketing Copywriter to join our Creative team and support our Lifecycle Marketing efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic writer to own and execute messaging throughout the entire consumer lifecycle for various debt solutions. The ideal candidate will craft compelling, member-centric content that drives engagement, conversion, and retention across multiple channels including emails, newsletters, blogs, phone scripts, SMS, and video scripts. As a remote role with periodic on-site meetings in Tempe, AZ, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into effective communication strategies. You should be adept at balancing persuasive and educational content, shifting seamlessly between different tones and formats, while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Your ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and incorporate data-driven insights will be crucial to your success. This position offers a chance to make a tangible impact on members’ financial journeys while working in a dynamic, supportive environment that values innovation and empathy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Lifecycle copywriting or related digital writing roles focused on engagement
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong project management skills, familiarity with tools such as Asana and AI-driven workflows
- Proactive initiative-taking and independent work capabilities
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally within large teams
- Previous experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating versatility and effectiveness
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field
Responsibilities
- Write and edit engaging, concise, and relevant copy for emails, newsletters, blogs, phone scripts, SMS, video scripts, and other marketing collateral
- Develop member-centric messaging that aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences
- Adopt the perspective of the target audience to understand their needs and craft empathetic, persuasive content
- Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing team members to understand strategic goals, challenges, and opportunities, providing content recommendations accordingly
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, adhering to established workflows, SLAs, and compliance standards
- Maintain clear communication regarding project status and involve stakeholders as needed
- Consult regularly with the Content Manager to ensure alignment on strategy, brand voice, and data insights
- Interpret complex briefs to produce accurate, compliant, and brand-consistent outputs
- Review own work for grammatical accuracy and clarity, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Articulate the rationale behind content choices to team members and stakeholders
