Heavy Sports is looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, freelance contributor to expand its golf coverage.
The contributor will collaborate with editors in crafting timely, distinctive, engaging content that serves golf fans’ needs.
Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Deep knowledge of the world of golf, including the PGA Tour, LIV and LPGA
- Experience covering sports, especially golf, in a fast-paced, digital-first environment
- Exceptional writing, self-editing and content marketing skills
- Ability to write quickly while producing clean and polished copy
- Strong multi-tasking and communication skills
- Ability to quickly navigate social media to spot news and find additional information after a story breaks
Work autonomously and remotely. Compensation scales with performance.
