AstroNova is seeking a Technical Writer to develop expertise in their innovative products and create essential technical publications. Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical publications such as user guides, service guides, help systems, and application notes for AstroNova products.
- Develop expertise in hardware and software through hands-on experience and collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Write clear and comprehensive instructions for complex technical tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Proofread and edit a wide variety of technical publications for quality, branding, and compliance.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in technical writing, technical support, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience documenting hardware and software systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office, and a familiarity with markup languages like HTML and XML.
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple publication projects simultaneously.
