We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for dogs and their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms (FB, IG & TikTok) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Utilize tools for scheduling posts and monitoring social media channels.
- Conduct social listening to understand audience sentiments and trends, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing efforts.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and other tools to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Create visually appealing content using photography skills and tools like Adobe for graphic design.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of social listening techniques to gauge audience engagement.
- Experience in photography and video editing to create compelling visual content.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks.
- Knowledge of public relations principles and advertising strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and social media influencers while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for staying current with digital marketing trends and innovations.
- Currently a dog parent and shares a mutual respect for helping animals live their best life.
