Editorial Lead (Copy & Content) – $65K- $75K/year
The organization is a software-as-a-service provider partnering with large healthcare systems to deliver technology solutions that improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. The Editorial Lead (Copy & Content) is responsible for overseeing a team of external copy editors, ensuring high-quality content, and leading AI-driven content initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and schedule external copy editor contractors to ensure deadlines are met
• Copy edit content, including high-priority, fast turnaround requests
• Lead AI initiatives to implement AI tools in content conception and drafting
• Maintain departmental tools such as Grammarly and improve the course quality review process
• Collaborate with department leads and managers to identify quality improvement opportunities
• Update copy editing documentation and guidelines to maintain high content standards
• Work with the Post-Producer Manager to ensure contractor efficiency and quality
• Define writing styles and quality control standards for various content types
• Develop scalable AI tools to support editorial and quality control processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of copy editing and/or writing experience
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated experience with AI tools
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to switch between tasks quickly
Compensation:
• Salary Range: $65K- $75K
• Salary is determined based on third-party benchmark surveys and individual experience
