Web Copywriter – SEO + Articles – $40/hr – $50/hr
Our SaaS client is looking for a talented Web Copywriter to craft compelling website content that attracts, engages, and converts visitors into loyal customers and brand advocates. This role blends creativity with strategy, requiring strong writing skills, SEO knowledge, and a deep understanding of digital audiences.
You’ll be responsible for producing high-impact content across blogs, landing pages, white papers, and other web assets. The ideal candidate can tailor messaging to specific personas, optimize for search engines and agentic crawlers, and write persuasive calls-to-action that drive results.
Key Highlights
- Remote position with a 40-hour workweek
- Must be available to work within Central Time (CST)
- Client-provided computer
- 60-80% of the role focused on writing SEO-driven articles
- Candidates with ecommerce copywriting samples will be prioritized
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, conversion-focused website copy
- Research and develop informative blog posts and resource content
- Create multiple copy variations for A/B testing
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for ideation, drafting, and editing
- Maintain brand voice and tone across all Commerce content
- Collaborate with teams across web strategy, design, SEO, and paid media
- Stay current on ecommerce trends and product updates
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and ecommerce copy
- Creative flair with a knack for bold, distinctive messaging
- Solid understanding of SEO principles
