Location: Remote (founder/author based in Cape Coral, FL)
Pay: $20–35/hour (depending on experience)
Commitment: Contract project until book completion
We’re creating a book that blends AI-generated writing with a founder’s vision. The majority of the content already exists inside the founder’s ChatGPT account — over 150+ saved chats that need to be sorted, organized, and refined into a publishable format. The end product will be delivered as both an eBook and a printed book, with bestseller ambitions.
This role is far more editorial and organizational than traditional ghostwriting. About 95% of the work will be spent inside the founder’s ChatGPT account: reviewing conversations, categorizing them by subject, and assembling them into chapters. The remaining work involves light rewriting and adjustments to improve readability. Expect multiple passes — often 5–6 drafts per chapter — to refine the material into a cohesive book.
What you’ll do
- Go through 150+ AI chats, sorting and categorizing them by subject/theme
- Organize conversations into structured chapters and book sections
- Copy/paste and format text into clean drafts for review
- Provide light editing and rewriting where needed for clarity and flow
- Collaborate on multiple drafts (5–6 per chapter) until final form is reached
- Prepare final deliverables for eBook and print publishing
What we’re looking for
- Experience as a ghostwriter, editor, or book writer with published work
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-generated writing workflows
- Strong organizational and editorial ability to turn raw chats into a structured manuscript
- Comfort with high-volume text review and iterative drafting
- Able to work closely with the founder in a detailed, step-by-step process
