The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Copywriter to join our Cleveland-based team. The ideal candidate will be a master storyteller with a proven ability to translate complex, technical concepts into compelling, clear, and persuasive copy. You will play a critical role in our brand’s voice and growth, attracting both high-caliber clients and top-tier executive talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread all marketing and communications materials, including:
- Website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns.
- Blog posts, articles, and thought leadership pieces on the AI and cybersecurity talent landscape.
- Social media content (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) that engages a professional and highly technical audience.
- Job descriptions and candidate profiles that are both accurate and enticing to executive-level talent.
- Case studies and white papers.
- Brand Voice & Strategy: Maintain a consistent, authoritative, and compelling brand voice across all channels. Work closely with the marketing and executive teams to develop content strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Research & Subject Matter Expertise: Conduct deep research on the latest trends in AI, cybersecurity, and executive search. Interview internal subject matter experts and leadership to gather insights and create authentic, value-driven content.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize all digital content for search engines to increase organic traffic and improve our firm’s visibility in a competitive market.
- Collaboration: Partner with designers, recruiters, and leadership to ensure all content is visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively communicates our unique value proposition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work for professional services and/or recruiting firms.
- Demonstrated ability to write about complex, technical subjects (e.g., AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud security) for a sophisticated B2B audience.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proven experience in writing copy that drives action and conversions, from attracting inbound leads to securing candidate interest.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to content creation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the executive search, recruiting, or talent acquisition industry.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and content management systems.
- Knowledge of the Cleveland business community is a plus.
