Role Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lesson Writer to work with our team. The ideal candidate will develop original lessons for grades 1-6 math. You will work closely with our instructional design team to create content that is educational, engaging, and suitable for a diverse range of learning styles.Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Write and develop creative lessons that align with Elephango’s content guidelines to enhance the student experience.
• Editing and Revision: Revise and edit lesson content based on feedback from reviewers to ensure clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Learner Needs: Ensure all lessons meet the needs of a diverse student population.
• Timeliness: Meet deadlines and manage time effectively to produce high-quality content on schedule.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, elementary, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in lesson writing, curriculum development, or teaching K-8.

Skills:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on clear and concise communication.
• Ability to create content that is engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate for K-12 students.
• Familiarity with educational objectives and curriculum design.
• Experience with digital education tools and platforms is a plus.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Math teaching experience.
