Author’s Virtual Assistant – $10/hr – $30/hr
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Manage my WordPress blog, finding photos and setting up posts with copy I provide.
- · Find images for social media posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- · Either create graphics for posts using color/design scheme provided or oversee another VA with skills in graphics.
- Preschedule social media.
- · Send out my weekly ezine to my list.
- · Set up autoresponders.
- · Make my blog SEO friendly.
- · Manage shared online scheduling system.
- · Do file management (organizing images and files).
- · Monitor and maintain my membership forum.
- · Moderate comments, cheer and root for members, ,, and post provocative questions to encourage discussion in my private community.
- · Post videos.
- · Answer support tickets and handle customer service issues.
- · Schedule and send emails to affiliates.
- · Follow up with organizers after speaking gig is booked.
- · Create and post surveys.
- · Do minor proofing.
- · You know or can quickly learn Leadpages, ZenDesk, Schedule Once, Teamwork, ActiveCampaign, Mighty Networks, and WordPress.
- · Reply to comments on my blog.
- · Find and participate in related discussion forums or message boards, with Author’s guidance.
- · Set up posts and interview for other VA positions as I build my team, using questions I provide.
- · Send call reminders.
- · Research potential speaking gigs. (Later.)
- · Set up Google alerts to stay on track with certain trends and news. (If you have a journalism background.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- · You have an excellent command of the English language.
- Ideally, you have experience as a VA for an author/influencer, preferably in the health or empowerment space.
- You’re based in the U.S. or overseas.
- · You are interested in health, fitness, and personal empowerment.
- · You’re dedicated, accurate, and lead a healthy lifestyle.
- · You’re comfortable working on RUSH projects.
- · You quickly follow instructions.
- · You are a fast learner.
- · You can easily learn new platforms.
- · You are flexible and understand that Author’s needs may change at the last minute due to a variety of factors such as last-minute
