Content Producer / Copy Editor, eTeam
As a storyteller, writer, and copy editor, the content producer is a vital part of our global organization. Your primary role is to collaborate with instructional designers and the media production team in the creation of both written and multimedia on-demand digital training.
Sometimes you’ll be asked to refine content from subject matter experts, sometimes you’ll be asked to create content from scratch.

Knowing how to best communicate through different media is a must for this role. You’ll be relied upon to take sometimes ambiguous, often dry content and make it engaging and digestible.
Responsibilities for Content
Producer
When you’re a content producer, there’s no such thing as a typical day! You’ll be working on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders, so you must be able to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate well with others.
The team produces material in a variety of formats and your content acumen will impact all of them.Communicate effectively within the training and catalog teams, specifically with the design and development experts to design and develop quality content.
Create and edit a variety of media and formats, including video scripts, eLearning courses, graphics, and long-form content.
Proofread and edit text at various stages of the writing process, and in response to feedback from instructional designers, program managers, and developers.
Lead in partnership with design stakeholders from briefing and initial concept, completing copy variations and proposals on time that also consistently and continually raise the standard of content practices.
Engage readers with informative, entertaining, and educational content be a storyteller.
Inform readers about the features of products using accurate and current information in partnership with the design team.
Understand and consistently reflect the brand voice and style of the company.
Provide Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe InDesign editing, as needed.
Keep abreast of trends in content and style reflected on various popular workplace learning channels.
Manage time and deadlines proactively.
Qualifications for Content Producer
4+ years of copywriting and editing experience preferred
Proficient in project management
Proficiency with applying the principles of style guides, such as corporate style guides or the AP Stylebook, to different types of writing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
Ability to manage a high-volume body of work and maintain a commitment to excellence
Ability to remain detailed-oriented and focused while meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment
Willingness to collaborate with a creative team of instructional designers, eLearning developers, and others
Passion for creating scalable processes that elevate the strategic impact of language and writing
Strong creative ability to help influence the design and development of best-in-class content
Basic knowledge of legal issues involved in publishing, such as libel and plagiarism
Mastery of spelling, grammar, and punctuation and ability to make constructive suggestions
Expert in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Adobe InDesign experience is a big plus
