As an FAQ Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing content for our FAQ and Help Center pages. You will work closely with various teams—including design, data science, UX/product, SEO, legal, and CMS—to ensure that our content is clear, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice. Your role will involve defining the tone and style of our FAQ content, identifying content needs based on data insights, and facilitating the creation and updating of informative and helpful content.

FAQ Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Define and implement the tone and style for FAQ and Help Center content in collaboration with design principles and our existing brand tone.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Partner with data scientists and data teams to review analytics and dashboards, identifying areas where new FAQ content is needed or existing content needs improvement.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization to gather information and create new FAQ content.
  • Content Review: Work with UX/Product teams to review and refine content, ensuring it meets user needs and enhances the overall user experience.
  • Content Updates: Regularly update existing FAQ content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and clarity.
  • SEO Optimization: Collaborate with SEO teams to modify FAQ content for search engine optimization, enhancing visibility and user engagement.
  • Microcopy: Assist with creating and updating microcopy within the Help Center to improve usability and user interaction.
  • Legal Compliance: Coordinate with legal teams to review and update content, ensuring it complies with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • CMS Integration: Work with the CMS team to manage content submission and updates, ensuring that all changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.

FAQ Copywriter Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in copywriting or content creation, preferably in an eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of tone and style development, with the ability to adapt content to align with brand voice and design principles.
  • Experience working with data and analytics to inform content strategy and development.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with teams such as UX, SEO, and legal.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with content submission processes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
