Co-writer – $42 an hour

I’m an experienced, published writer/blogger who needs an experienced, published journalist with whom to collaborate. If you thrive on working just by yourself, this isn’t a fit. If you enjoy collaborating and interacting in real time (onscreen and/or on the phone), quite possibly it is. I’m offering $42/hr, plus commission on any pieces we sell together.

This is a gig through November 5th and possibly beyond (my politics are blue), about 12-20 hours per month, about 75% of it working together online in real time. The qualified person is 1.) experienced in getting blog-style pieces read, both via social media and MailChimp, and by selling them to newspapers and magazines 2.) good at research and fact-checking, and 3.) fun to work with. (I am generally fun to work with too!) I’m in Portland, Oregon, so our shared work hours will fall within 9 am to 5 pm Pacific.
