What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Provide general administrative support for the Who HQ series
– Correspond with authors, agents, and other professional contacts
– Write cover copy, catalog copy, and title information sheets
– Prepare manuscripts for production, ensuring accuracy in formatting and art notes
– Track manuscripts through all stages of editing, design, and production

What is Required (Qualifications):
– Interest in nonfiction books for ages 8-11
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
– Problem-solving skills and comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
– Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
– Experience in children’s publishing, copywriting, and/or editing is a plus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Previous experience in children’s publishing or editorial roles
– Familiarity with Google research tools
– Strong writing skills, particularly in crafting engaging copy
