Writing: The Writer must ensure that the publication is covering key music news and events and that the coverage is accurate, balanced, informative, free of any factual and grammatical editors and is well-written. The Writer is responsible for ensuring that each piece of content produced is original. The Writer should have experience working in CMS systems and writing news both quickly and accurately.
2. Story selection: The Writer is responsible for both identifying breaking news quickly and finding fresh, unconventional angles daily to update the Music Times website.
3. Ensuring editorial standards are met: The Writer must ensure that all content published by MusicTimes.com meets the publication’s standards for accuracy. This includes ensuring that sources are properly vetted, all facts are verified, and that content is free of bias and errors.
4. The Writer must work closely with Pleroma Media’s other editorial staff to develop and execute an editorial strategy that aligns with the publication’s mission and goals through daily early morning editorial meetings. This includes setting editorial priorities, identifying key topics and trends, and ensuring that content is produced in a timely manner.
5. Utilize analytics tools to understand and develop a loyal and growing audience.
