Copywriter, Ryan Consulting Group – $40 to $55 per hour

The Copywriter reports to a Creative Director and collaborates with Associate Creative Directors (ACDs), Senior Copywriters, and Producers to craft advertising copy. They create impactful messages in the company’s brand voice, ranging from broad brand messaging to promotional offers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develops copy for various channels, including digital, social media, print, and signage, ensuring alignment with brand voice and standards.
  • Business Translation: Works with ACDs to translate business briefs into compelling copy that resonates with customers and positions the company as their preferred retailer.
  • Channel Expertise: Stays current with media formats, standards, and trends, crafting content for Tier 2-3 jobs with high accountability.
  • Collaborative Work: Partners with ACDs, Designers, and other Copywriters to ensure consistency and effectiveness in all customer-facing communications.
  • Project Management: Manages workload using Workfront and ProofHQ, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of creative assignments.
  • Message Map Application: Follows quarterly and monthly message map directions set by ACDs for various promotional seasons and campaigns.

Daily Duties:

  • Produces copy options for in-store signage, print, digital media, and other materials.
  • Versions out concepts based on creative briefs and business strategy.
  • Presents written samples for ACD review and approval, applying message maps and maintaining brand voice across all communications.

Tools & Processes:

  • Utilizes Workfront for managing tasks and ProofHQ for work review and approval.

This role requires strong writing skills, a keen understanding of customer psychology, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team.
