    Hi James,

I write unlike many bloggers. Not because I am trying to be different. But because I am just being me, and feel my responsibility is to be me, and write how only I write. Meaning long run on, colorful sentences and short and punchy sentences. More funny pieces. A few scary pieces too. We owe it to ourselves and readers not to follow the herd, just because many established bloggers demean the average attention span and site useless stats to prove their point.

    I don’t check stats. Sure hasn’t hurt me 🙂

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

“Meaning long run on, colorful sentences and short and punchy sentences.”

I enjoy both formal and (very) informal writing, though i’d choose informal any day…. if possible. Now if i could only get some of my formal clients to think the same way. Sigh…

      I guess it’s all about the occasion/situation 🙂

      Thanks man,

      Hi Ryan,

I get the “being me” part and I am all for it, but sometimes the circumstances dictate a different approach and my (inane) musings were more about whether we can and should do anything to change where this dictating leads.

I am not sure how clear I made this 🙂

      Thanks for the comment,

I believe as long as your audience enjoys what you are writing and how you are writing it, any style is acceptable. Thanks for sharing!

Every content writer has a responsibility of writing and providing information, which is true .
