    In other words, an ecommerce website could be your dream client thanks to everything there is to do 🙂

    Not to mention a potential Q&A section or other specialized pages, depending on the product(s) in question.

    Thanks James!

    Hi Elvis,

    Something like that, yes 🙂 There is always work to be done and it gets varied. Until you get bogged down in product descriptions (for websites that have hundreds if not thousands). That can get really boring really fast, but at least you get some practice 🙂

    Still, definitely not a bad gig.

    So true, I can especially relate to what you have said about product descriptions and keeping them original. If you have a product range of say, 500 different key chains, it gets a bit tedious as there is only so much you can say about a keyring!

    Thanks. This is helpful as we are about to create an ecommerce part of our website (or perhaps a separate site). Excellent point about writing unique copy for individual items, rather than the manufacturer’s language.

    @Cheryl
    I honestly hope you weren’t in a position where you had to write 500 descriptions for key chains 🙂

    @Rich
    Definitely try to find the time (or the help) to write your own, unique descriptions. SEO-wise, copying descriptions is one of the worst things you can do to your ecommerce website.

    Hi, This was insightful. Product Descriptions can be tricky to write, as they are monotonous and yet you have to distinguishable and creative at the same point. It certainly tests your mettle. Blogs on the other hand are creative and fun to do. I personally love writing E-Mails for my company. Thanks for sharing the post.
