    Hi Elvis,

Diving in and tweeting because all of John’s works rock 😉 Also because SEO is such an interesting topic; the seemingly tiniest, easiest to follow tips yield the most inspired, leveraged, kick butt rewards. Thanks for sharing!

Have you ever just not felt like writing at all? You do not have any idea what to write about or even why you should keep writing. Everything you write seems pointless and like no one is really listening or caring about what you write. How can you make readers care?

This article cleared a lot of confusion for me. Understanding the difference between link earning vs link building was a game changer for me. Also understanding the power of content being exciting and having relevancy is going to really help my SEO.

    Good article!
Those are some of the SEO tactics that still work, as mentioned by John:
    – Using your keyword(s) in your description and text body
    – Using the appropriate reading level for your audience
    – Using your keywords(s) in your internal and external links.
They are not enough, but necessary and we apply them always.(http://seoimperatoragency.com)

Keeping up with the algorithms is extremely important. It seems they change and change back again. I recommend having at least 20+ test sites so you can see what is actually working and what methods react the quickest in the rankings.

John Rampton’s article which I have just come across is excellent. Many have said that link building is useless which is not true and SEO is dead which is also untrue. The art of SEO does not readily yield its secrets except to those who test thoroughly and analyse their results.

    Great article
Fascinating article especially the part about Rankbrain. I.ve done a lot of research on search engine optimization and I got to say you are the first person I hear talking about it. It makes sense that google is doing this. The majority of “GURUS” out there talk a lot about google being an unintelligible system that only understands algorithms and not the way an article is written. Perhaps this is the reason they have included an artificially intelligent system to take care of this problem.

    Thank you

Totally agree with the article that links are still relevant to rank your site. The more relevant the link is to your specific niche, the more it will help your site. This is why you want to after good links and not just spammy links. Having fewer links that are relevant will help you more in the long run.

Agreed with these articles. At the end of the day, it’s better to go after authority links instead of general links just to get links back to the site. Relevant links is all that matters at the end of the day.
